What we hope to absorb in Espangna:

  • Eat Paella in the sunshine by the Sea in Valencia
  • Drink a glass of sherry in Jerez
  • Take a long hike in the Pyrenees
  • See the flamenco
  • Visit the aqueduct, Segovia
  • Canoe and walk through the Picos de Europa
  • See the Iberian Lynx in the Coto de Doanana
  • Visit the Grand Mosque in Mezquita de Coroba
  • Drink a fantastic rioja in an authentic bodega in Logrono
  • Drive over some lemons and follow the mules in Las Alpajurras


Liberty, Equality and Fraternity from a motorhome:

  • Drink a brilliant Bordeaux
  • Cycle along the canal du Midi
  • Explore the Alps on foot from Annecy
  • View the Gorges de l’Arcdeche
  • Drink Champagne (every day if possible!!)
  • Visit the Chateaux de Loire
  • Explore the history of Monpazier
  • Catch a leg of the Tour de France (Revel 18/7)

Our Italian Dream:

  • Explore a cave in Matera
  • Picnic on parma ham and parmesan dressed with balsamic vinegar from Bologna market
  • See the byzantine mosaics in Ravenna
  • Visit Pompeii and Herculaneum
  • Swim in Lake Garda
  • Discover renaissance art in Urbino
  • Hike in through the wild trails in Parco Nazionale d’Abruzzo
  • Gorge ourselves on pizza in Naples
  • Hike amongst the towering Domlomites
  • Drive through the Tuscan hill towns of Montalcino, Montepulciano and San Gimignano
  • Explore the architecture of Lecce
  • Walk the costal path of Cinque Terre
  • Enjoy a road trip along the Amalfi Coast
  • Drink a local wine with a platter of cheese and cold meats
